1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs all merchants (“Merchants”) using Evonet’s payment and related services (“Services”) and shall be read together with all relevant policies as published on https://evonetglobal.com/company-policies.
 

By using Evonet Services, Merchants agree to comply with this Policy, Evonet’s Service Agreement, and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Prohibited or Restricted Merchant Segments and Activities

Merchants or Activities that are classified as Restricted (Restricted) below may be accepted only after Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), valid licensing, and Evonet’s explicit approval. Evonet will not process or acquire transactions related to the following industries or activities that are classified as Prohibited (Prohibited). Evonet has the sole discretion for the provision of services to merchants and may decide to prohibit or terminate service without cause.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

a) Comply with all applicable laws, AML/KYC, and card brand regulations.

b) Submit business registration, AML policy, financial reports, and ownership info.

c) Maintain transparent refund, cancellation, and support policies.

d) Implement anti-fraud and compliance controls.

e) Retain transaction data for at least 5 years.

f) Cooperate with Evonet audits and monitoring.

g) Avoid structuring transactions to evade risk limits.

4. Prohibited Countries

Evonet will not process transactions from or to:

Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, Cuba, Myanmar, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela.
 
This list is not exhaustive and will be updated from time to time in accordance with applicable sanctions requirements and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) guidelines.

5. Enforcement & Amendments

Evonet may suspend, terminate, or withhold funds for violations.
