As the first partner of the Evonet wallet network, Paybooc, the BC Card’s digital wallet, is now available in the Evonet wallet network.
BC Card has recently launched the business collaboration with Evonet, and joined Evonet mobile wallet network as mobile wallet operator and merchant acquirer. As the largest local credit card issuing brand and acquiring company in South Korea, this move is a commendable attempt by BC Card to actively expand its cross-border business and enrich Paybooc mobile wallet functionalities. Evonet is excited to be the strategic partner for the journey.
As an Evonet merchant acquirer, BC Card has the capability to enable its existing and future merchants in South Korea to accept payment from Evonet-enabled overseas mobile wallets. This arrangement will help BC Card and its merchants generate more revenue from payment transactions conducted by Evonet-enabled overseas mobile wallets.
As Evonet mobile wallet operator, BC Card has the capability to enable Paybooc mobile wallet to be used at Evonet-enabled merchants in different countries. This arrangement will enable Paybooc to enrich its mobile wallet functionalities with cross-border retail and e-commerce QR code payments, to generate additional revenue from cross-border payment transactions and foreign currency exchange.
