We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team and contribute to our rapid growth in the merchant acquiring sector in Japan.
Job Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
Responsible for expanding and maintaining the acquiring business client base; follow up on execution progress according to company and team sales targets, and successfully achieve assigned sales performance indicators. - Strategic Client Development
Develop efficient client acquisition plans to reach target industry clients and establish contact with key decision-makers. - Partnership Development
Assist the Channel Partnership team in establishing local relationships with the Payment Service Providers to enrich the payment capabilities.
Develop the referral partnership channels to source more potential merchant leads from different merchant segments to secure our payment solution usage. - Market Insights & Product Optimization
Analyze client needs and market changes, promptly share the latest market intelligence, and provide optimization suggestions for the company’s products, services, and sales strategies.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
At least 3 years of working experience in the payment industry.
Possess rich client resources and proven successful client acquisition cases in the payment/acquiring sector. - Industry Insight & Strategic Thinking
Strong forward-looking understanding of the payment industry trends.
Ability to propose innovative products and sales expansion ideas in response to changing market environments. - Work Style & Execution Ability
Highly goal-oriented, skilled at setting clear objectives and executing plans effectively.
Excellent adaptability to fast-changing work environments and business targets.
Strong sense of urgency and execution capability. - Personal Attributes
Passionate about sales and business development.
Highly proactive and self-motivated.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong innovation capability.
Excellent ability to understand and capture client needs.
